PAL Books and Malqof Books are equipped separately. The server freezes the valid equipped set before a Sakka, so a loadout change applies to the next Sakka rather than the one already running.
A PAL Book may rank lawful alternatives; a Malqof Book may use only its registered ordinary command. Books cannot reveal a private verdict, create an action, or make an illegal card legal.
